Admission
The State of Missouri recognizes Starshine Preschool under a "License Exempt" status. We are an early childhood program licensed for ages 6 weeks through five years of age.  A state regulation booklet is available for viewing upon request from the director.  Special needs children will be individually evaluated to determine if we can meet their needs.

HOURS OF OPERATION
Starshine Preschool school year runs from September through May. Classes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm

ENROLLMENT
A composite of forms to be completed include: a physical after June 1st of the year of enrollment, a record of current immunizations, picture and travel release, medical emergency, and a State of Missouri notice of Parental Responsibility form.  Children will not be allowed to start the program without all the forms filled out and on file at the facility.

A non-refundable enrollment fee of $55 will be taken at the time of enrollment.  This fee will ensure the child's placement.  The first month's tuition will be due at the parent meeting held in August.  We encourage each family to purchase school supplies as indicated on a printed list from Starshine.

Once a child is enrolled, paying monthly tuition is expected, regardless of whether the child is in attendance.  Thank you for your cooperation.  Since we are a Non-profit Organization.  This ensures that we meet our financial obligations.

Rates for 2011-2012 School Year
Infant tuition (0-2 yrs old) is $195 per month.  Regular tuition for toddler class through preschool classes is $170 per month and due on the first (1st) school day of that month.  All payments made after the fifteenth (15th) will be considered late and an automatic 10% late fee will apply.  $20 will be charged for all overdrawn checks.  If the program receives an overdraft and it cannot be cleared by the 15th, the late fee will be collected.

Please place all payments in an envelope with your child's name written clearly.  The large white payment box is located on the lower level under the Parent Bulletin Board. Checks should be made payable to "Starshine Preschool"
